In-line and off-line oil heating + filtration

For some applications it is necessary to (pre)heat the hydraulic or lubricating oil. OilSense offers different solutions to heat the oil directly in the circuit or heat the oil in combination with an off-line filtration unit. In the latter case there is an extra advantage: the main system can be shut-down while the off-line unit heats and filters the oil in the tank. The same combination is possible for off-line filter units in combination with an oil cooler.

Oil flushing units
Alinea
Flushing units are mostly used to clean hydraulic systems by removing settled contamination. By flushing a new hydraulic system before bringing it into operation, expensive breakdowns are avoided. Our flushing system creates a high flow combined with high pressure, which in turn creates a turbulent flow in your hydraulic lines that eliminates contamination.

Prevention of water vapor condensation in the reservoir
Alinea
Most lubricating and hydraulic oil reservoirs contain a pocket of air between the fluid level and the top of the tank. Moisture collects in the air pocket and often condenses into water droplets which then fall back into the oil. Fluctuating fluid levels in the reservoir cause ambient air to be drawn in through any openings or cracks in the reservoir lid or cover. The in-rush of air may bring with it dirt particles that fall into the oil and elevate the contamination level of the entire reservoir. OilSense offers a range of air breathers (in combination with air blowers) which clean and dry the incoming air into the reservoir.

In critical applications it might be necessary to have a water-free, particle-free and gas-free oil at all times. OilSense designs all-in-one reservoirs fitted with appropriate oil filters, sensors and oil conditioning equipment to achieve and maintain the desired oil quality.

By using our transfer units your oil fillings will be carried out in optimal conditions with no oil spills, wrong oil fillings and clean oil in your machine.

In-line oil cooling systems

A hydraulic system may be designed perfectly, heat will always be generated. 20% of energy added in an average hydraulic system will be lost due to heat generation.
An example: your system has an added energy of 100 kW and an efficiency of 80% ( = 20% energy loss). 20 kW of energy (heat) has to dissipate from the system through the environment and oil cooler.
